"Ask the Man Who Owns One" was the tagline for the Packard Motor Company in the early 20th century. Nowadays you can't ask too many people about their Packards, but if you run into Richard from Auburn, he'll probably tell you about how well his '38 Coupe is running. Richard brought his inline 6 engine into Moore's after vigorously researching the best machine shop to work on his classic engine. We took it in and gave it the Moore's treatment. After cleaning the parts, boring the cylinders and surfacing block, we fit the engine with custom fabricated parts from Egge Machine, the expert in fabricating engine parts for rare motors. After the final assembly, Richard dropped the fully rebult engine into his newly restored '38 Packard and plans on hitting the car shows all summer long. Thanks for the great project Richard!
